The Print Pack includes: |
This is an economical option if you prefer to undertake the following tasks yourself:
- Data Entry of your manuscript
- Proofing and copy editing
- Layout and formatting
- Cover design
- Production of press-ready PDF files
- Marketing and promotion
We can assist with any of these tasks at additional cost if you require help, or you may want to consider one of our other Packs which include more services as standard.
We will recommend a retail price point for your book which will afford you a minimum 45% discount on any copies you purchase for your own use or resale (equivalent to manufacturing cost plus handling), and 20% royalty on gross retail sales. You may set a different retail price point if you wish, though this may impact on your discount/royalty percentage.
We will submit your book details to our distribution network to enable it to be listed, ordered and sold worldwide. Amongst the sales channels we can access for you are: International distributors (Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Paperback Shop), British and European distributors (Gardners, Bertrams), US distributor NASCORP, Library suppliers (Blackwell, Coutts), Specialist distributors (Mallory International, STL) and major online booksellers (Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Adlibris.com, Book Depository, Eden Interactive). Your book will appear as ‘in stock’ to over 30,000 wholesalers, retailers and booksellers in over 100 countries, and available to order (with a stock availability time of 24 hours or less) to many others.
Royalties are payable quarterly (subject to minimum accumulated balance of £25) and are accompanied by a breakdown of sales report. Author purchases are subject to shipping charges from our print facilities to your delivery address, which are made at cost. Maintenance of ‘in print’ status is chargeable at £20 per year, the first year’s fee is included in the Pack price.
